Does TempoWeave Studio run on Windows and macOS?

Accepted Answer

Yes! This new TempoWeave Studio will run natively on macOS 14+, Windows 10+ or Linux with support for both ARM and X64 on all platforms.  The installer will automatically detect whether your Mac is the older Intel, or the newer Apple M-class ARM processor.  For Windows, it will detect both Intel and ARM64.  For Linux, it's been tested on Ubuntu and ARCH with X64 and ARM64.

For customers with an older Mac that can't upgrade beyond macOS12, we do also have a version for you.  You'll  just need to install and new updates manually as you desire.

Can I load TempoWeave on more than one of my computers?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can load TempoWeave on any computer that you (as in individual) own.  Simply install and then validate with your subscription id that you received when you originally purchased TempoWeave Pro.  You can validate under Help | License in TempoWeave.

Question 3

How do I download the TempoWeave install again (or to my new computer)?

Accepted Answer

If you have purchased a copy of TempoWeave or have an active subscription, you can download the latest release from here and reinstall or put on another computer than you own.

I would like to use TempoWeave when I teach weave design classes.  Do you have a special teachers license available?

Question 5

Does TempoWeave read and write a standard WIF file?

Accepted Answer

Yes.  We also support our own LoftyFiber format (.TWA) which includes additional features unique to TempoWeave.

Question 6

What happens if I allow my Pro subscription to expire after one year?

Accepted Answer

If you don't renew the annual subscription ($45), you will simply lose the Pro features and benefits.  TempoWeave Studio will continue to run as TempoWeave Studio Core.  If you allow your Pro subscription to expire, you will be able to add it at a later date by upgrading to Pro from within TempoWeave Studio or by visiting tempoweave.com

Question 7

How do I update my Licence, Subscription, or associated email address?

Click on My Account in the website menu to access your account.  There you will need to enter the email address you used when purchasing TempoWeave.  Then the system will email you with a link that you can use to login to your account and update your subscription or your email address.  If you no longer have access to the email you used when purchasing TempoWeave, contact us and we'll assist you in changing your email address.

What is the cost to upgrade my TempoWeave Lite license to a Core License with a 1-year free Pro subscription?

Upgrading from Lite to Core +Pro will be only $96!  We give you credit for the $39 that you already paid and apply that against the $135 cost of Core.  And remember, you get a 1-year free Pro subscription with your upgrade.
